Founders Ceremony 2014

The Founders Corner features a low rock wall with plaques describing events before the 1959 founding of Peachtree City. These include a record of Chief McIntosh, land history, the original settlements of Clover and Aberdeen, early property owners, mills, and farms, and the dates of the land acquisition and founding of Peachtree City in 1959. The corner is located within the footprint of Peachtree City’s original City Hall, the center point of which is marked with a white obelisk.
