18 Aug. 2025 Real Life Center/ Packing Backpack Buddies Aug. 18, 2025 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The Backpack Buddie program serves school children in Fayette County who are at direct risk of hunger and food insecurity when they are not in school and don’t have access to the free school breakfast and lunch. We will assist in preparing a bag of food for each child to take home on Friday (and school breaks) that covers them with dinner on Friday night and breakfast, lunch and dinner for Saturday and Sunday as well as snacks. Please wear comfortable clothing & closed toe shoes.
